Zoom B1X FOUR Multi-Effects Pedal
The Zoom B1X FOUR puts over 70 effects, nine amp models, a looper and 68 drum patterns into a single floor unit. An integrated expression pedal gives real-time control over parameters such as volume, wah, delay and pitch. It suits bassists who want a compact all-in-one rig for practice, recording or live use.
Expression Pedal and Patch Management
The built-in expression pedal handles one parameter at a time, so simultaneous control of multiple effects is not possible. Patches and backups are managed through the separate Guitar Lab application on a computer; there is no wireless or direct mobile editing. The looper captures a single phrase up to 30 seconds with unlimited overdubs.
Setup and Common Issues
Power the pedal via the supplied adapter or batteries, connect your bass to the input and route the output to an amp, mixer or interface. Guitar Lab must be installed on a desktop system to download new effects, organise patches or update firmware. Users without convenient computer access will find patch management difficult.
