Extreme Lightweight Gaming Mouse

The COUGAR Air Blader weighs 62 grams and uses a PMW3389 optical sensor with 16000 DPI resolution. Its ambidextrous, compact shape targets claw-grip players across FPS, MOBA and RTS titles. The hollowed-out structure removes mass while keeping the shell rigid for precise control.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a wired USB mouse it draws minimal power from the host port and has no active cooling or moving parts that generate audible noise. The 2000 Hz polling rate communicates with the PC continuously without measurable thermal impact on the device surface. Normal desktop or gaming use produces no perceptible heat or sound from the unit itself.

Sustained Load Behaviour

During extended sessions the 50 million click-rated mechanical micro switches maintain consistent actuation force without degradation. The fixed 2000 Hz report rate and PMW3389 tracking stay stable over long periods, avoiding the variance seen in burst-only implementations. COUGAR UIX System software lets you lock DPI steps and polling behaviour so performance does not drift under continuous competitive load.

Questions about this item

How do I install the COUGAR UIX System software and which step do users often skip?

Download the COUGAR UIX System from the manufacturer site, run the installer, then restart the PC before plugging in the mouse — skipping the restart is the step that leaves the 2000 Hz polling rate inactive.

Which part will need replacement first and after how many clicks is it rated?

The mechanical micro switches are rated for 50 million clicks; they are the first components likely to wear out under heavy use.

What is the first performance limit that appears during extended gaming sessions?

The PMW3389 sensor tops out at 16,000 DPI, so sensitivity ceiling is the first hard limit you reach in sustained play.
