Ultra-light 65 g gaming mouse

The MSI Clutch GM41 Lightweight V2 is a wired USB 2.0 mouse weighing 65 grams. It uses the PixArt PMW-3389 optical sensor with up to 16000 DPI and 400 IPS tracking. Six programmable buttons and a 1 ms polling rate support competitive play on Windows 10 or newer.

Palm and claw grip focus

The symmetrical shape suits both left- and right-handed users who prefer palm or claw grips. Diamond-patterned anti-slip sides improve hold during long sessions. Buyers needing a heavier mouse, wireless freedom or dedicated thumb-button clusters should look elsewhere.

FriXionFree cable and durable switches

The included FriXionFree cable reduces drag across the desk surface for smoother glide. OMRON switches rated for 60 million clicks extend the usable life of the primary buttons. No extra weights, spare feet or software CDs are bundled.

Questions about this item

What operating system do I need on my PC to use the 16000 DPI sensor on this MSI Clutch GM41 Lightweight V2?

The mouse requires Windows 10 or a newer version to operate its PixArt PMW-3389 sensor at up to 16000 DPI.

Will the USB 2.0 interface on this 65g mouse limit the 1 ms polling rate on my older motherboard?

USB 2.0 provides sufficient bandwidth for the 1 ms polling rate, so the GM41 Lightweight V2 performs at full speed on legacy ports.

How can I verify the 400 IPS tracking speed is active after I plug in the MSI Clutch GM41 Lightweight V2?

Move the mouse rapidly across the pad; the cursor should not spin out or lose tracking, confirming the PMW-3389 sensor is functioning at its rated 400 IPS.
