What this keyboard is

The COUGAR AttackX3-3IS is a wired mechanical gaming keyboard built around Cherry MX Blue switches and a brushed aluminium frame. It connects via USB and features full key backlighting with five brightness levels, dedicated media controls, N-key rollover and a 1000 Hz polling rate.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

Typists and gamers who prefer a clicky, tactile switch with audible feedback will appreciate the Blue MX feel and on-board storage for three profiles. Users needing a quieter linear or silent switch, wireless connectivity, or a compact layout without a number pad should consider a different model.

The specification that decides fit

The Cherry MX Blue switch type defines the sound and actuation force of every keystroke; if that clicky character matches your preference, the keyboard delivers full NKRO, 1 ms response and aluminium rigidity in a single package.
