Lightweight Over-Ear Gaming Headset

The COUGAR Immersa Essential is a 260g over-ear headset built for gamers who value comfort during long sessions. Its suspended leatherlike headband and metal-reinforced frame reduce vibration from low-frequency output. An enhanced chamber and diffuser ribs balance bass and treble for clearer stereo sound from the 40mm drivers.

Wired Analogue Users Seeking Simplicity

This headset suits players who want a simple plug-and-play analogue connection with inline volume and microphone mute controls. A 4-pole to 3-pole adapter is included for broader device compatibility. Buyers who want wireless freedom, active noise cancellation for the earcups, or surround-sound processing should look at other models.

9.7mm Cardioid Microphone with Pop Cover

The 9.7mm noise-cancelling cardioid microphone captures voice clearly while rejecting background noise. Its adjustable boom and anti-pop cover reduce plosives and disturbance for cleaner communication. This microphone specification is the key factor in deciding whether the headset meets your voice-chat requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I install the headset and which connection step is often missed?

Plug the single 4-pole connector into a combined audio jack; if the device has separate headphone and microphone sockets, use the included 4-pole to 3-pole adapter to connect both plugs.

What part will need replacement after extended use and how do I address it?

The leatherette ear pads and headband cushion wear over time; they are not user-replaceable, so the entire headset would need replacing when comfort degrades.

What is the first limitation that appears during long gaming sessions?

Passive noise isolation depends on the over-ear seal, so sustained low-frequency sounds can still be heard and the 40 mm drivers may distort at very high volumes.
