Titanium-Coated 40mm Drivers

The Cougar Immersa Ti is a stereo gaming headset built around 40mm drivers with titanium-coated diaphragms. It uses a circumaural design with 100mm diameter ear pads that are 35mm thick and filled with memory foam. A suspended leatherlike headband adjusts automatically through 360 degrees of omnidirectional adaptation. The 9.7mm retractable cardioid microphone and a 4-pole to 3-pole adapter are included.

Gamers Who Value Comfort And Clear Chat

This headset suits players who want long-session comfort from ultra-large memory-foam pads and an adaptive headband structure. The cardioid microphone focuses on voice pickup for clearer in-game communication. Buyers who want active noise cancellation technology, wireless connectivity, or surround sound processing should look elsewhere. The fixed 6.56 ft cable also limits freedom of movement compared to wireless models.

32 Ohm Impedance For Broad Device Compatibility

The 32 ohm impedance with 15 percent tolerance means the headset works efficiently with most PC, console and mobile audio outputs without needing a dedicated amplifier. Sensitivity is rated at 97dB with a frequency response of 20Hz to 20KHz. Microphone sensitivity is -47dB across a 100Hz to 10KHz range at 2.2K ohm impedance. The unit weighs 0.84 lb.

Questions about this item

Does this headset come in any other colour or driver size?

No, the IMMERSA Ti is offered only in Black/Orange with the 40mm titanium-coated diaphragm drivers listed in the specifications.

How loud will the 97dB sensitivity actually sound when I plug the headset into my PC?

At 32 ohm impedance and 97dB sensitivity the headset reaches comfortable gaming volume from a standard motherboard or controller jack without needing an external amp.

What does the 4-pole to 3-pole adapter let me connect to?

The included adapter splits the single 4-pole plug into separate headphone and microphone 3-pole jacks so the headset works with PCs that have separate audio and mic ports.
