Classroom Chalk Set

The Crayola 510400 box contains 144 coloured drawing chalk sticks, each 3.2 inches long and 0.4 inches in diameter. The assortment provides 24 distinct colours, giving classrooms and art groups a broad palette for paper-based projects. Sticks are tubular for a comfortable grip and are certified non-toxic for ages four and up. The set is sold new as a single unit for immediate use.

Suited For And Not Suited For

Teachers, parents and activity leaders who need a large quantity of chalk for drawing on paper or similar surfaces will find the count and colour range practical. Buyers who want chalk specifically formulated for chalkboard use should look at a different product. The sticks are not intended for sidewalk or outdoor pavement art. Anyone needing individual colour refills rather than a full assortment will not be served by this box.

Deciding Specification

The critical detail is the surface compatibility: these sticks are designed for paper and surfaces other than chalkboards. If the intended surface is a traditional chalkboard, this set will not perform as required. For paper-based classroom art the 144-stick count and 24-colour variety support sustained group work without frequent reordering.
