Crestline 34710 36 x 48 Aluminum Framed Green Chalkboard

Crestline 34710 Green Chalkboard

The Crestline 34710 is a 36 x 48 inch green chalkboard with an aluminum frame, designed for classrooms, offices, cafes, and home décor. It provides a spacious writing area for notes and drawings with a smooth surface for writing and erasing. This new board suits teachers, professionals, and homeowners needing a durable display surface. It is not for buyers who require a magnetic surface or a whiteboard for dry-erase markers.

Aluminum Frame and Chalk Surface Limits

The aluminum frame adds durability and style to the chalkboard. The green chalk surface requires priming before first use by rubbing the side of a chalk stick across the entire board. Cleaning should use a dry cloth or a lightly damp microfiber cloth without over-saturating the surface. The board lacks magnetic properties, so it cannot hold papers or accessories with magnets. It is not suited for users who need a projection screen or interactive display capabilities.

Wall Mounting with Included Hardware

Installation is straightforward with the included mounting hardware for wall attachment. The board must be secured to a wall structure capable of supporting its size. Priming is required before initial use and may be needed again after deep cleaning. Improper cleaning with excess moisture can damage the surface, and skipping the priming step leads to poor erasability and ghosting. It is not a freestanding easel and cannot be used without wall mounting.
