Cast-aluminium scoop for portioning

The Crestware AS24 is a 24 oz cast-aluminium scoop designed for commercial breakrooms and food-service environments. Its one-piece construction suits high-volume measuring of dry or semi-solid ingredients. The silver finish identifies it quickly on a busy prep line.

Fits standard ingredient bins and wash stations

The scoop nests inside common bulk containers without protruding, keeping lids sealable and shelves tidy. A non-reinforced handle allows thorough cleaning around the junction, while the rigid bowl resists bending when scraping compacted product. Autoclave cycles are not supported.

Light thermal mass and quiet handling

Cast aluminium warms rapidly to ambient temperature, so the scoop feels neutral during extended use. No moving parts or coatings mean silent operation and no degradation from repeated washing. The metal is not certified for direct food contact under NSF or FDA programmes.

Questions about this item

How much dry ingredient can the 24 oz cast-aluminium scoop hold in one fill?

The scoop holds exactly 24 oz of dry product per fill, matching the stamped capacity on the bowl.

Does the aluminium bowl or handle get hot when the scoop sits in a steam table all day?

Aluminium conducts heat quickly, so the bowl and handle will reach steam-table temperature and become too hot for bare hands.

What mounting or storage hardware is needed to keep the scoop upright on a prep table?

The scoop has a non-reinforced handle with no hanging hole, so a separate hook, rack or crock is required to store it upright.
