Breakroom Egg Slicer

The Crestware EGS Egg Slicer prepares uniform pieces for salads, sandwiches and garnish work in commercial kitchens and office breakrooms. Its aluminium frame produces nine even cuts in a single press.

Thermals Noise and Power

Manual operation means no electricity is consumed and no fan noise is generated during use. The aluminium body stays at room temperature and adds no heat load to the prep area.

Upgrade From Knife Cutting

Replaces hand slicing with a knife when consistent 1/8-inch thickness and speed across multiple eggs are required. The jump is worth it for high-volume breakfast service or catering prep where uniformity reduces waste.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the Crestware EGS Egg Slicer so the wires cut cleanly?

Place the unit on a flat surface, centre the egg in the cradle, and press the hinged top straight down in one smooth motion; angling the handle twists the wires and bends them.

When do the cutting wires on this aluminum egg slicer need replacing?

Replace the wires when they no longer slice cleanly through a hard-boiled egg or when any wire shows a visible kink or gap; the aluminum frame itself does not wear out.

What stops me from slicing more than a few eggs in a row with the Crestware EGS?

The slicer is not dishwasher safe, so residue builds up on the wires and must be hand-washed between batches, slowing continuous use.
