14-inch stock pot cover

The Crestware POTC24 cover fits 24 qt stock pots with a 14 in overall diameter. It is made from aluminium with a 2 mm gauge and an aluminium handle. The cover is NSF certified and oven safe is rated no. Dishwasher safe is also rated no.

Sustained kitchen use

The aluminium body conducts heat evenly during long simmering sessions without warping at the 2 mm thickness. The fixed aluminium handle stays attached through repeated lifting. NSF certification confirms the cover meets commercial sanitation standards for repeated service.

Diameter match decides fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 14 in overall diameter matching the pot rim. A pot with a different rim diameter will not seat the cover securely regardless of its capacity rating.

Questions about this item

Does the aluminum cover get hot enough to burn during long simmering sessions?

The 2 mm gauge aluminum conducts heat quickly, so the handle will become very hot on a 24 qt pot; use a thick mitt or cloth when lifting it after extended cooking.

What pot diameter does this 14 in cover actually fit?

It is made for a 14 in diameter stock pot with a 24 qt capacity; the cover will not seal properly on smaller or larger vessels.

Can I keep using my older non-NSF stock pot with this NSF-certified cover?

Yes, the cover sits on any 14 in pot rim regardless of the pot's certification, so your existing pot works fine.
