5-Quart Aluminum Sauce Pot

The Crestware SAU5 is a straight-sided sauce pot built from 4.2 mm aluminum for professional kitchens and high-volume home cooking. Its riveted aluminum handles stay secure during heavy stirring and transfer. NSF certification confirms it meets commercial sanitation standards.

Five Quarts of Simmer Space

The 5 qt capacity handles stocks, sauces and pasta water for six to eight servings without boiling over. Straight walls promote even heat distribution across the base, while the open top allows unrestricted evaporation for reductions. No lid is included, so a separate cover is needed for trapped-heat recipes.

Riveted Aluminum Handles, No Dishwasher

Both loop handles are riveted through the 4.2 mm wall, eliminating weld points that can fail under load. Bare aluminum construction means hand washing only — dishwasher cycles will discolor the surface. The pot is not oven-safe, so finishing dishes under a broiler requires a different vessel.
