Charcoal Olefin Wiper Mat

This rectangular wiper mat measures 36 inches wide by 120 inches long with a 0.38 inch thickness. The charcoal olefin surface traps moisture and fine dust at the entrance. A vinyl backing provides a moisture barrier that protects the floor beneath. It is designed for indoor use in light-traffic areas.

Light-traffic entrances needing floor protection

The mat suits small commercial doorways where an affordable indoor wiper is required. It holds up to 0.75 gallon of water per square yard to keep floors drier. Buyers who need a mat for heavy-traffic or outdoor applications should look elsewhere. The construction is not rated for those conditions.

10-foot length for extended coverage

The 120-inch length covers a long entry run with a single piece. This reduces seams and simplifies installation in corridors or wide doorways. Verify the available floor space before ordering. The fixed size cannot be trimmed without affecting the vinyl backing.

Questions about this item

Does this 36-inch-wide mat need a special floor type for the vinyl backing to grip?

The vinyl backing works on standard indoor hard floors such as tile, laminate or sealed concrete; no special surface is required.

Will the 0.38-inch thickness create a trip hazard where it meets my existing carpet?

At 0.38 inches thick the mat sits low, so the transition to adjacent carpet is minimal and generally not a tripping concern.

How can I confirm the charcoal olefin surface is absorbing moisture after installation?

Step on the mat with wet shoes; the plush olefin should darken slightly and hold up to 0.75 gallon of water per square yard before feeling saturated.
