Indoor Wiper/Scraper Mat

This Crown Needle-Rib mat measures 36 by 120 inches and uses ribbed polypropylene fibers to trap dirt and moisture at the door. A vinyl non-skid backing holds the mat in place on indoor floors while beveled edges lower trip risk. The brown surface contains 50 percent recycled content and resists wear in light- to medium-traffic areas. Thickness is 0.38 inches for low-profile coverage.

Suits Indoor Entrances Only

The mat is designed for indoor use and light- to medium-traffic volumes, so it fits reception areas, hallways and office doorways. Buyers who need an outdoor scraper or a mat for heavy industrial traffic should look at a different product. Anyone requiring a size other than 36 by 120 inches will need another mat.

36 by 120 Inch Dimensions

The single specification that decides fit is the overall size of 36 inches wide by 120 inches long. Measure the doorway and floor space before ordering to confirm this rectangle covers the required zone. No other dimension or feature overrides this sizing requirement.

Questions about this item

What type of floor surface do I need for the vinyl non-skid backing to grip properly?

The vinyl non-skid backing is designed to stay in place on smooth indoor floors such as tile, vinyl, laminate or sealed concrete.

Will the 0.38-inch thickness create a noticeable step between the mat and my existing low-pile carpet?

At 0.38 inch thick the mat adds a low profile that blends with most low-pile carpets without a pronounced step.

How can I verify the mat is trapping dirt as intended after installation?

After foot traffic, lift a corner — you should see dirt and moisture collected in the ribbed polypropylene grooves rather than on the surrounding floor.
