Crown Needle-Rib Wiper/Scraper Mat

The Crown Needle-Rib Wiper/Scraper Mat is a rectangular polypropylene mat measuring 36 by 48 inches. It is designed for indoor entrance areas that receive light to medium foot traffic. The charcoal colour and ribbed surface trap and hide dirt and moisture before they are tracked further inside.

Sustained dirt and moisture retention

Rugged grooves and ribbed polypropylene needle fibers continuously capture debris across the 0.38 inch thick surface. The wear-resistant, colour-fast construction maintains its scraping performance over time without significant degradation. A vinyl non-skid backing keeps the mat securely positioned during daily use.

Indoor application limits

This mat is specified for indoor use only and contains 50 percent total recycled content in its surface. Beveled edges reduce tripping hazards where the mat meets the floor. It carries a manufacturers limited one-year warranty and is not biodegradable.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 0.38" thick vinyl backing retain under a rolling chair all day?

The mat is only 0.38" thick with a vinyl backing designed to stay flat; it does not generate or trap noticeable heat during continuous indoor use.

Does the 36" x 48" size require a specific floor type for the non-skid vinyl backing to grip?

The non-skid vinyl backing works on common hard floors such as wood, tile, laminate and low-pile carpet without additional adhesives or tapes.

Will the ribbed polypropylene surface with 50% recycled content wear evenly beside an older chair mat?

The wear-resistant, color-fast needle-rib surface is built for light- to medium-traffic areas and maintains its texture alongside older mats in the same space.
