Crown Needle-Rib Wiper/Scraper Mat

This Crown Needle-Rib mat measures 36 inches by 60 inches and is built for indoor entrances. Ribbed polypropylene needle fibers trap and hide dirt and moisture before they reach interior flooring. The brown surface contains 50 percent total recycled content. A vinyl non-skid backing keeps the rectangular mat in place on hard floors or carpet.

Fits standard 36-by-60-inch entry zones

Beveled edges reduce tripping risk where the mat meets the surrounding floor. The .38-inch thickness allows the mat to sit low enough for most door clearances while still providing scrape action. Vinyl backing grips the subfloor so the mat does not shift under foot traffic. Use indoors only; the mat is not rated for exterior exposure.

Handles light to medium traffic daily

Wear-resistant, color-fast construction maintains appearance under sustained footfall rather than just occasional use. Polypropylene fibers resist crushing so scraping performance remains consistent over time. The mat protects underlying carpets and hard floors from abrasive grit and moisture buildup. Not suited for heavy industrial or high-volume commercial entrances.

Questions about this item

How much surface wear can the 0.38-inch thick ribbed polypropylene take before it stops scraping effectively?

Does the vinyl backing prevent the mat from sliding or curling after hours of foot traffic?

Does this 36 by 60 inch mat require a recessed well or adhesive to stay flat on a hard floor?
