AX3000 dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router

The Cudy WR3000 is a new wireless router built on Wi-Fi 6 technology for homes and small offices. It delivers combined wireless rates of 2402Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports provide wired connections for PCs, consoles or network storage.

160 MHz bandwidth and 1024-QAM headroom

The router uses 160 MHz channel width and 1024-QAM modulation to reach up to 3 Gbps peak throughput. MU-MIMO and OFDMA raise capacity by up to 8X on 2.4 GHz and 16X on 5 GHz, supporting up to 256 connected devices. Performance will vary with client capabilities, interference and building materials.

Five operating modes with VPN support

The unit operates as a router, access point, repeater, or WISP client to fit different network topologies. Built-in PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN and WireGuard server and client functions enable secure remote access. Four fixed 5dBi antennas handle signal direction; beamforming focuses coverage toward active devices.

Questions about this item

Will the WR3000's 10/100/1000Mbps ports bottleneck my older Gigabit desktop and NAS?

No. Each of the four LAN ports negotiates at 10, 100 or 1000Mbps, so legacy Gigabit devices run at their full 1000Mbps rate without any reduction from the router.

How can I verify the WR3000 is delivering the 2402Mbps 5GHz and 574Mbps 2.4GHz link rates after setup?

Check the client list in the router's web interface; it shows the negotiated PHY rate for every connected device, letting you confirm 5GHz clients reach 2402Mbps and 2.4GHz clients reach 574Mbps.

Does the box include Ethernet cables for the four 10/100/1000Mbps ports, or must I buy them separately?

The package contains the WR3000 router, four fixed 5dBi antennas, a power adapter and a quick-install guide; Ethernet cables for the LAN/WAN ports are not included and must be purchased separately.
