Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router

The Cudy WR6500H is a new wireless router built around a Broadcom 2 GHz quad-core CPU with 512 MB RAM. It delivers 6-stream dual-band Wi-Fi 7 rated at 5765 Mbps on one band and 688 Mbps on the other, providing high throughput for busy households or small offices.

Best for Multi-Device Homes, Not Dense Enterprise

This router suits users who need low-latency gaming, streaming and video calls across many simultaneous connections, with support for up to 200 connected devices. Buyers who require dedicated backhaul bands for mesh expansion or advanced enterprise-grade security features should look at other solutions.

2.5 GbE WAN/LAN Port Decides Wired Speed

The single 2.5 GbE port alongside four gigabit ports sets the maximum wired throughput for a NAS, workstation or uplink. If your internet plan or local network demands multi-gig speeds on several wired links, this port count will be the limiting factor.

Questions about this item

Which BE6500 version should I choose for a 140 m² home with many devices?

The WR6500H covers up to 140 m² and supports 200 connected devices, making it suitable for a 1,500 ft² home with heavy device counts.

What does the 5765 Mbps + 688 Mbps headline mean for actual throughput?

Those are the maximum link rates for the 6 GHz and 5 GHz bands; real-world throughput will be lower due to overhead, interference and client capability.

How does the 2.5GbE port cap my internet speed?

The single 2.5GbE WAN/LAN port limits wired throughput to 2.5 Gbps, so any internet plan above that will be bottlenecked at the router.
