Questions about this item

How often will the non-stick crisper plate need replacing with daily use?

The crisper plate is dishwasher-safe stainless steel, so it does not have a non-stick coating that wears off. Hand-wash the basket to preserve its finish, but the plate itself requires no scheduled replacement.

What stops the basket from cooking evenly during a full 6-quart batch at 450 °F?

The toss reminder on the touch screen prompts you to shake or flip food mid-cycle, which prevents uneven browning when the basket is fully loaded.

How loud is the fan and how hot does the exterior get after an hour at 1800 W?

The unit runs on a standard 230 V circuit; the cool-touch housing and automatic warming mode keep external surfaces manageable, while the internal fan noise is typical for a 6-quart countertop fryer.
