15-piece stainless steel knife block set

The Cuisinart C77SS supplies fifteen stainless steel blades in a single bundle that covers bread, cheese and everyday utility tasks. A storage block is included so the knives stay organised on the countertop. The set is aimed at home cooks who want a complete, ready-to-use collection without buying pieces separately.

Sustained kitchen use

Stainless steel construction resists corrosion and holds an edge through repeated slicing, chopping and bread-cutting sessions. The material withstands daily washing and heavy prep without the staining or pitting that can appear on lower-grade alloys. Blades keep their geometry over long periods, reducing the frequency of sharpening.

Installation and common issues

The knives slot directly into the supplied block; no assembly, tools or calibration are required. The main practical issue is the block's footprint — 14 inches high by 10 inches wide by 10 inches deep — which may not fit under low wall cabinets or on narrow worktops. Users should verify countertop clearance before purchase.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 15-piece stainless steel block generate when left on the counter all day?

The knives and block are passive stainless steel; they produce no heat and draw no power during storage or use.

What must I already own for the 3-inch blades in this C77SS set to be useful?

A cutting board and food to prepare — the set supplies every knife and the 14-inch storage block.

Will the 8.9-pound stainless block fit beside my older 10-inch deep knife rack?

The block measures 10 inches deep, so it aligns with a 10-inch deep rack; total height is 14 inches.
