Trailer Ball Mount Class 3
This CURT ball mount is rated for Class 3 towing and fits a standard 2-inch receiver shank. It includes a hitch pin so the assembly is ready to install. The black finish resists corrosion during regular road use. Builders who need a higher weight rating or a different shank size will need a different mount.
2-Inch Shank With Included Pin
The 2-inch shank slides into any Class 3 compatible receiver tube. A supplied pin secures the mount without requiring a separate hardware purchase. The solid steel construction handles the stresses of trailer coupling and uncoupling. Owners of receivers sized for 1-1/4 inch or 2-1/2 inch shanks cannot use this unit.
Manufacturer Direct Fulfilment
Orders totalling 75 or more ship free when fulfilled directly by CURT. The direct-from-manufacturer route can reduce transit handling compared with third-party distribution. Buyers who prefer to collect from a local retailer or need same-day availability will not be served by this fulfilment method.

Questions about this item
What class rating does this ball mount carry and what does that limit?
The mount is rated Class 3, which sets the maximum gross trailer weight and tongue weight the assembly can safely handle when paired with a matching Class 3 hitch receiver.
What shank size must the receiver have for this mount to fit?
It requires a 2 inch receiver opening; the shank slides into that square tube and is secured with the included pin and clip.
How is the pin installed and what step is often missed?
Insert the shank fully, align the holes, push the pin through both walls, then snap the retaining clip over the pin end — forgetting the clip is the common mistake that lets the pin work loose.
