Frame for 10 Golden Age Comics

This black wood frame holds ten Golden Age comic books published between 1938 and 1956. Each opening fits the 7.25 by 10.5 inch format exactly. The unit measures 44 by 25.75 inches overall with a .75 inch moulding width. Acid-free black matting and nesting foam keep every book secure and flat.

Replaces individual sleeves or loose stacking

Collectors who currently store books in loose sleeves or stacked boxes gain a single wall-mounted display that protects and shows every cover at once. The jump is worth it when you want UV acrylic protection, acid-free materials and a ready-to-hang presentation without building a custom shadow box. It removes the risk of light damage and corner wear from frequent handling.

Limited to Golden Age dimensions and ten slots

The fixed openings accept only the 7.25 by 10.5 inch size so Silver Age, Bronze Age or modern comics will not fit. The frame holds exactly ten books with no option to add more slots later. Buyers who need different comic sizes, a larger capacity or a different mat colour must choose another product.

Questions about this item

What wall space does the 44 by 25.75 inch frame need?

The overall frame measures 44 inches wide by 25.75 inches high, so allow at least that much clear wall space plus room for the hanging hardware.

How do I secure the 7.25 by 10.5 inch comics inside the frame?

Place each Golden Age comic on the acid-free black mat, add the nesting foam behind it, then close the foam board backing to hold everything snugly in place.

When should I check the UV acrylic and foam for wear?

Inspect the UV acrylic and nesting foam every few years; replace the foam if it loses resilience and clean the acrylic with a soft, non-abrasive cloth to maintain protection.
