Frame fit and purpose

This brown wood frame fits 12 by 15 inch diplomas with the included mats or 16 by 19 inch documents without them. The mat opening measures 11.5 by 14.5 inches and the moulding is .75 inches wide. It is intended for graduates, professionals or anyone displaying certificates in a home or office setting.

Practical limits of wall display

The overall dimensions are 17.5 by 20.5 inches, so the piece needs that much clear wall space plus room for the supplied hanging hardware. A UV resistant acrylic front and foam board backing protect the document from light and contact damage. Acid free mats prevent long term yellowing of the paper.

Decisive specification

The critical measurement is the 11.5 by 14.5 inch mat opening; if your diploma exceeds that window the mats will cover part of the print. Buyers who need a larger visible area or a different mat colour should look elsewhere.
