Frame Layout & Use

This black wood frame holds four Silver Age comic books measuring 7.125" x 10.5" in a 2x2 grid behind UV resistant acrylic. The overall frame size is 21.5" x 27" with a moulding width of .75". An acid-free black mat and nesting foam secure each book without adhesives. It is intended for collectors who want to display graded or raw issues from 1956 to 1970 on a wall or shelf.

Wall & Surface Prep

Verify the hanging location can support the assembled frame with its acrylic front and foam board backing. The package includes an easel stand and wall hanging hardware for either orientation. Ensure the mounting surface is flat and the hardware matches the wall type. No comic books are included, so have your Silver Age issues ready for insertion before mounting.

Materials & Environment

The solid wood moulding, UV resistant acrylic glazing and acid-free mat board are designed to limit fading and acid migration in normal indoor conditions. No powered components are present, so the frame draws no power and produces no noise. Keep the display away from direct sunlight and high humidity to preserve the comics and the wood finish over time.
