What the frame holds

This brown wood frame fits a 12x15 diploma with the included black on gold acid-free mats or a 16x19 document without them. The mat opening measures 11.5 by 14.5 inches. It is made to order for displaying and protecting certificates, degrees and similar documents. The frame moulding is .75 inches wide.

How it fits your space

Overall dimensions are 17.5 by 20.5 inches so the piece suits standard wall areas in a home or office. A UV resistant acrylic front shields the document from light damage while foam board backing provides rigid support. Both an easel stand and wall hanging hardware are supplied for tabletop or vertical mounting.

What the accessories enable

The double mat adds a decorative border and keeps the diploma surface away from the acrylic. Acid-free materials prevent long-term yellowing of the document. The easel allows immediate shelf display without tools and the hanging hardware enables secure wall installation. UV resistant acrylic reduces fading from sunlight exposure.

Questions about this item

How well does the UV resistant acrylic front protect the diploma from fading under sustained sunlight?

The acrylic front is UV resistant to help protect documents from fading, while the acid-free mats prevent yellowing and deterioration over time.

Does the solid wood frame or acrylic front become warm or emit any odor when hanging in a sunlit room all day?

The frame uses a solid wood moulding 0.75 inches wide with a UV resistant acrylic front and foam board backing; wood and acrylic do not generate heat or odor under normal indoor lighting.

What wall mounting hardware is included so I can hang the 17.5 by 20.5 inch frame securely?

The frame comes with hanging hardware for wall mounting and an easel stand for tabletop display, so no extra fixings are needed to hang it on the wall.
