Silver Collage Frame for 12 Comics

This silver-finished wood frame displays twelve current-era comic books published after 1985. Each opening fits the standard 7.25 by 10.5 inch size. The overall dimensions measure 51 by 24.5 inches with a 0.75 inch moulding width. It is designed for collectors who want a single wall piece for a curated set.

Acid-Free Matting and UV Acrylic Protection

The frame includes acid-free black matting and UV-resistant acrylic to shield artwork from light damage. Nesting foam holds each comic securely without pressure on the cover. A foam board backing adds rigidity. All materials are archival-safe for long-term preservation of valuable books.

Hardware Included for Immediate Hanging

Wall hanging hardware is supplied so the frame can be mounted as soon as it is unpacked. The solid wood construction supports the combined weight of twelve comics and glazing. An easel stand is also provided for shelf or tabletop display as an alternative. No additional fixings are required for standard wall mounting.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 51 x 24.5 inch frame securely on the wall?

Use the supplied hanging hardware and fix it to wall studs or heavy-duty anchors; the 0.75 inch moulding adds weight so a single nail often pulls out.

Will the UV acrylic or black mat need replacing over time?

The UV acrylic resists fading indefinitely under normal indoor light, and the acid-free black mat is archival grade, so neither requires scheduled replacement.

What limits how many comics I can display in this frame?

The frame holds exactly 12 current-era comics at 7.25 x 10.5 inches each; the fixed openings and nesting foam prevent adding more.
