Silver Comic Book Frame

This solid wood frame displays two Golden Age comic books measuring 7.75"x10.5" published between 1938 and 1956. It features a silver finish with acid-free white matting and includes UV resistant acrylic, foam board backing, and nesting foam to secure the books. The overall frame size is 11.25"x24". It is handcrafted in the USA.

Build and Mounting

The moulding width is 0.75 inches and the frame uses wood construction with a rectangular shape. It arrives ready to hang with included wall hardware and also provides an easel stand for shelf or desk display. The nesting foam holds each comic snugly against the mat to prevent shifting. Acid-free materials help preserve paper quality over time.

Practical Limits

This frame fits exactly two Golden Age comics at the stated 7.75"x10.5" size; larger Silver Age or modern issues will not fit the openings. The UV resistant acrylic reduces fading but does not block all light damage indefinitely. Comic books are not included with the frame. Buyers needing to display more than two books require additional frames.
