Silver Frame for Golden Age Comics

This solid wood frame with a silver finish holds two Golden Age comic books measuring 7.75 by 10.5 inches. The overall frame size is 19.5 by 15.5 inches with a moulding width of .75 inches. An acid-free black mat and nesting foam secure each book inside the rectangular profile. It arrives new and ready to hang or stand on a desk.

Replaces Loose Storage and Basic Sleeves

The frame upgrades comics from boxes or simple plastic sleeves into a wall-ready display with UV resistant acrylic protection. The jump is worth it when you want to show cover art daily while shielding paper from light damage and handling. Foam board backing adds rigidity so the books stay flat over time. The package includes an easel stand and hanging hardware for flexible placement.

Not for Modern or Oversized Issues

Buyers with Silver Age, Bronze Age or modern comics measuring larger than 7.75 by 10.5 inches cannot use this frame. Collectors needing more than two openings per unit should look elsewhere. The fixed mat window sizes and overall dimensions limit the product to the specified Golden Age format only. Verify your book measurements match exactly before ordering.

Questions about this item

What wall space does the 19.5" x 15.5" overall frame size require?

The frame measures 19.5 inches wide by 15.5 inches high, so allow that exact rectangle plus a small margin for the hanging hardware.

Which hanging hardware is included and how should the 0.75" moulding depth be seated?

Wall hanging hardware is supplied; mount the fixings so the 0.75 inch deep moulding sits flush against the wall without tilting.

How long will the UV resistant acrylic protect the comics before it needs replacing?

The UV resistant acrylic is designed for long-term display; replace only if it becomes scratched or yellowed after extended exposure.
