Ten-pack light kit for outdoor and emergency use

This Cyalume SnapLight kit contains ten yellow lightsticks, each six inches long and rated for twelve hours of illumination. The sticks are individually sealed and have a four-year shelf life, making them suitable for camping, marine, or preparedness stores. A built-in hook and hole at one end allows hanging from monofilament or a lanyard.

Steady output for the full rated duration

Each stick produces a consistent yellow glow for the entire twelve-hour period rather than a bright burst that fades quickly. The chemical reaction is non-flammable and generates no heat, so the light remains reliable in enclosed spaces or adverse weather. With a weight of .45 per unit, the kit is lightweight enough for pack carry while still delivering dependable area lighting.
