Lightweight Stereo Headphones for Everyday Use

The Cyber Acoustics ACM-70B is a supra-aural stereo headphone designed for PC, Mac, Chromebook, tablet, smartphone and most gaming system users. It houses 27mm dynamic drivers covering a 20Hz–20KHz frequency response. The adjustable headband and soft leatherette ear pads provide a comfortable fit for users of all ages. This lightweight, travel-ready option suits classrooms, travel or daily listening without requiring software installation.

Passive Operation with Tangle-Free Cable

These headphones draw power directly from the 3.5mm audio source, so there is no battery to charge and no active circuitry to generate heat or noise. The 6.00 ft braided TuffCord resists tangling and withstands coiling, twisting or chewing without performance loss. Weighing 0.12 lb, the set adds negligible load during extended sessions. No thermal management or fan noise considerations apply to this passive analog design.

Plug-and-Play Convenience and Durable Build

The 3.5mm connector enables immediate plug-and-play compatibility across listed devices without drivers or configuration. Leatherette ear pads are easy to clean and the adjustable headband accommodates most head sizes for shared use. Buyers who need wireless freedom, active noise cancellation or a detachable microphone will not find those features here. The bundled TuffCord cable is the only included accessory, replacing standard wires with a rugged nylon braid.

Questions about this item

How do I plug in the 3.5 mm connector on the ACM-70B and what step do people miss?

Insert the 3.5 mm plug fully into the device jack until it clicks; the step users miss is not pushing it all the way in, which causes one-sided audio.

What part of the ACM-70B will wear out first and need replacement?

The soft foam ear pads compress over time and are the first component to need replacing for comfort and seal.

At what volume level does the 27 mm driver on the ACM-70B start to distort during long sessions?

Sustained listening near maximum volume can cause the 27 mm drivers to distort; keeping levels moderate avoids this limit.
