SIP IP66 Outdoor Horn for industrial paging

The CyberData SIP IP66 Outdoor Horn is a network-connected speaker built for loud industrial, warehouse and outdoor environments. It delivers IP-based overhead paging with support for up to nine user-stored messages. The unit is designed for SIP-compatible IP PBX systems and multicast zone paging.

SIP RFC 3261 and multicast zone limits

The speaker interfaces with SIP-based IP PBX servers that comply with SIP RFC 3261. For non-SIP environments it listens to multicast address and port combinations to form paging zones. Operation depends on the SIP server or multicast infrastructure already present on the network.

IP66 rating decides outdoor suitability

The IP66 rating certifies protection against dust ingress and powerful water jets, making the horn suitable for permanent outdoor mounting. Buyers who need a lower ingress rating for indoor-only use should consider alternative models.
