Smart App Sinewave 3000 VA UPS

The CyberPower PR3000RTXL2UC is a line-interactive UPS rated at 3000 VA and 3000 W for 120 V environments. It accepts a 75 to 149 VAC input range and delivers a pure sine wave output at 100, 110 or 120 VAC ± 5%. The unit fits a 2U rack or tower form factor and uses a NEMA L5-30P input plug with a 10 ft cord.

Line-interactive thermal and power profile

Line-interactive topology corrects minor voltage fluctuations through AVR without engaging the battery, reducing heat and acoustic noise during normal operation. The sealed lead-acid battery recharges from 0 to 90 percent in 3 hours. Audible alarms signal battery mode, low battery, overload, overcharge and overheat conditions.

LCD panel, EBM slot and management card

The rotating LCD tilts for readable access to 47 configurable settings covering stats, setup, control and self-test functions. An Extended Battery Module slot accepts the BP48VP2U02 for longer runtime. The RMCARD205 network management card adds remote monitoring and control via web browser or network management system. PowerPanel Business software is included for local management.

Questions about this item

How do I install the CyberPower PR3000RTXL2UC in a rack and what step is often missed?

Mount the 2U chassis using the included rails, then rotate the LCD panel 90 degrees for proper viewing; the step often missed is securing the captive screws on the battery panel to ensure the front panel stays latched during operation.

What maintenance will the PR3000RTXL2UC need and when should I replace the batteries?

The sealed lead-acid batteries are user-replaceable via the toolless front panel; plan replacement every 3 to 5 years or when runtime drops below the rated 7 minutes at half load and 1.7 minutes at full load.

What is the first limit I will hit running the PR3000RTXL2UC at full 3000 W load continuously?

Battery runtime is the first limit — at 3000 W the unit provides only 1.7 minutes of backup; after that the UPS will shut down unless an extended battery module is added.
