Coiled USB-C Cable with GX16 Connector

The Das Keyboard DeltaForce Aviator cable is a custom coiled USB-C cable built for mechanical keyboards and other USB-C devices. It uses a 6 ft length with a 6-inch coil to keep the desk tidy while providing flexible reach. Paracord 750 sleeving gives a soft, frictionless feel without the stiffness of Techflex. GX16 aviator connectors allow quick detachment for modular setups or transport.

Suits Custom Keyboard Builds and Modular Desks

Mechanical keyboard enthusiasts who want a detachable, space-saving cable with a premium paracord finish will appreciate the coil and GX16 connection. Gamers and coders needing reliable data transfer for a single USB-C board also fit this profile. Buyers who need a straight cable, a longer reach beyond 6 ft, or a cable without aviator connectors should look at something else.

GX16 Aviator Connector for Quick Detach

The defining specification is the GX16 aviator connector, which lets you separate the cable at the keyboard end without unplugging the host port. This preserves the USB-C port on the board and speeds up cable swaps for different colours or layouts. If your keyboard lacks a GX16 port or you prefer a fixed cable, this connector is the limiting factor.

Questions about this item

Do I need a keyboard with a USB-C port to use the DeltaForce Aviator cable?

Yes, the cable terminates in USB-C, so the keyboard must provide a USB-C receptacle for the GX16 aviator connector to plug into.

Will the GX16 aviator connector work with my existing USB-A host port?

The host end is a standard USB-A plug, so it fits any USB-A port on a PC, laptop or hub without an adapter.

How can I confirm the cable is delivering data after I connect it?

The keyboard will enumerate immediately — keys register, RGB lighting powers on, and the OS shows a new HID device with no driver install required.
