Pack of 500 CR80 PVC cards with high-coercivity magnetic stripe, 30 mil thickness
These Datacard Group PVC cards measure 3.37 by 2.13 inches with a 30 mil thickness, matching the standard CR-80 format used for credit and ATM cards. The pack contains 500 white cards, each featuring a high-coercivity magnetic stripe on one half of the surface for secure data encoding. They are designed for direct-to-card printers that require a smooth, glossy, debris-free surface to achieve optimal print quality. The cards are manufactured from 100% PVC and are sold as non-returnable media.
The integrated HiCo stripe replaces the need for separate adhesive magnetic strips or lower-coercivity media that can be erased by common magnets. This jump is worth it when your access-control, loyalty or payment system requires the durability and rewrite resistance of high-coercivity encoding. Organisations printing basic photo IDs without data-tracking needs will not use the stripe and should choose plain graphics cards instead. The 500-count bundle suits high-volume issuance but exceeds the needs of small-batch or pilot projects.
These cards rely on a printer that can both print on the glossy PVC surface and write to the HiCo stripe in a single pass. Retransfer or laminating printers that do not support magnetic encoding cannot use the stripe function. The 30 mil thickness matches standard CR-80 specifications, but printers with fixed, non-adjustable card paths may still reject the stock if their rollers are calibrated for thinner media. Cards must be stored flat and dust-free; any surface contamination degrades both print adhesion and magnetic reliability.

The cards measure 3.37 inches by 2.13 inches, matching the standard CR80 format used by most direct-to-card printers.
Load the cards with the magnetic stripe facing down and toward the rear so the printhead and encoder engage the stripe correctly.
Replace the pack when cards show surface scratches, dust accumulation, or when the magnetic stripe fails to encode reliably during printing.
