2-Gang Recessed Cable Plate

This DataComm Electronics cable plate provides a clean pathway for low voltage wires behind flat panel displays or audio equipment. The white finish blends with standard wall colours for a tidy installation.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive wall plate, the unit generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no electrical power. It simply routes cables through the recessed opening without active components.

Upgrade and replacement context

The plate replaces a basic flat cover when cables need to exit the wall at a recessed depth. The jump is worth it when a low voltage mounting bracket is already in place and a two-gang opening matches the cutout.

Questions about this item

How do I install this 2-gang recessed cable plate onto a low voltage mounting bracket?

Mount the plate onto a low voltage bracket with the opening oriented up or down, then route low voltage cables through the recessed openings for a flush finish.

Will the white finish on this cable plate require any maintenance or replacement over time?

The white finish is a durable moulded colour that does not require painting or periodic replacement under normal indoor conditions.

What is the maximum cable diameter that can pass through the openings without binding?

Each gang opening accepts typical low voltage cables such as HDMI, coaxial and Ethernet; bundled cables exceeding the gang width may bind.
