The Datalogic Gryphon 4500 GD4590-BK is a corded handheld imager built for general-purpose retail and logistics scanning. It reads 1D, 2D, postal, stacked and composite codes plus Digimarc and dot codes. White-illumination and a 4-Dot aimer reduce eye strain and accidental reads. Motionix motion-sensing automatically switches between handheld and presentation modes.

1 MP optics deliver depth of field

The megapixel sensor provides superior scanning range and supports image capture with OCR capabilities for document scanning. It comfortably handles high-density labels and coloured barcodes at the counter or in light industrial workflows. Very long-range or ultra-wide-angle scanning beyond the stated optics is not supported.

USB and RS-232 multi-interface connectivity

The scanner terminates in a single cable that speaks USB, RS-232 or keyboard wedge without an adapter. This makes it the right part when the host system requires legacy serial or modern USB HID on the same hardware. Wireless, Bluetooth or proprietary industrial bus connections are not available on this model.
