Datalogic Heron HD3430 2D imager

The Datalogic Heron HD3430 is a corded 2D area imager barcode scanner designed for general-purpose use. It connects via cable and includes a stand for hands-free operation. The black enclosure features a carbon-fiber look with curving lines. It reads 1D, 2D, postal, stacked and composite codes plus captures images.

Suited for fixed counter scanning

This scanner suits retail counters, reception desks and light industrial stations where a tethered device stays in one place. The white illumination and 4-Dot aimer with centre cross help targeted scanning in dense label layouts. Buyers needing a cordless scanner for roaming inventory work should look at something else.

Corded connectivity with stand

The unit uses a fixed cable connection so it does not require battery charging or wireless pairing. The included stand enables hands-free presentation scanning for higher throughput at a stationary point of sale.
