Cordless 2D imager reads 1D, 2D and postal codes via Bluetooth or USB with 30,000+ scans per charge
The Datalogic QuickScan QBT2430 is a handheld cordless 2D area imager designed for point-of-sale environments. It reads 1D, 2D and postal codes from paper labels and mobile phone displays. Bluetooth wireless technology connects the scanner to the included base station or to commercial Bluetooth devices. A USB cable is supplied for wired use or charging.
Each radio receiver can pair with up to seven scanners when a commercial dongle is used, or one scanner when the cradle is used. The scanner communicates through HID and SPP profiles, allowing direct connection to iOS and Android tablets without extra software. This flexibility suits retail lanes that need multiple wireless scanners on a single host.
Operators who need a lightweight cordless scanner for checkout, price checking or goods receiving will benefit from the 30,000-plus scans per charge and the low-stress red illumination with blue LED aiming. Buyers who need an industrial rugged housing, a longer scan range than 35 centimetres, or a scanner without a base station should look at other models.
