Ready-to-install projector lamp module

The DataStor Epson H476A (ELPLP65) is a new replacement lamp assembly that combines a UHE 230 W bulb with its housing in one unit. It is built for owners of compatible Epson projectors who need a drop-in replacement without sourcing a bare bulb and cage separately.

Simple swap with no alignment required

Because the bulb comes pre-mounted in the correct housing, installation only involves opening the projector lamp door, removing the old module and sliding the new one into place. The fixed housing eliminates the risk of mis-seating a bare bulb or damaging the reflector during a manual transplant.

Steady output for the rated 2000 hours

The UHE lamp maintains consistent brightness and colour balance across its 2000-hour rated life rather than fading quickly after an initial peak. It is not suited for users who need longer intervals between replacements or who run their projector continuously in high-brightness mode.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the DataStor Epson H476A lamp is performing correctly after installation?

After fitting the lamp, check the projector’s built-in lamp-hour counter — it should start from zero and accumulate toward the rated 2,000 hours, while the image stays evenly bright with no flicker or colour shift.

What components are included with the H476A (ELPLP65) and is anything else required?

The module ships as a fully assembled 230 W UHE bulb inside its housing, ready for direct installation; no extra parts or tools are needed.

Which version of the H476A should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

All four versions — three OEM sources plus one compatible — meet ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, connections and run-time, so any will deliver the specified 2,000-hour life.
