Genuine compatible Epson H554C projector lamp

The DataStor replacement module uses the ELPLP87 designation and fits Epson projectors that require the H554C lamp code. It arrives as a fully assembled 215 W UHE bulb inside its housing, so no separate lamp-to-cage fitting is required. Installation is a direct swap for the original module.

Check your projector model

Verify that the service manual or on-screen menu lists H554C or ELPLP87 as the correct part number for your unit. Confirm the projector accepts a 215 W UHE lamp, because wattage and lamp type must match exactly. Ensure the existing housing is not damaged, since this module includes a new housing and does not reuse the old one.

Replaces a spent or dimming original H554C module

Swap it when the projector warns of end-of-life or when brightness has dropped below usable levels. The 5,000-hour rated life restores full output for another full duty cycle. The jump is worth it when the current lamp has reached its rated hours or shows colour shift, flicker or failed ignition.

Questions about this item

Does the lamp arrive as a complete module with housing, or must the housing be purchased separately?

The product is a fully assembled module that includes the UHE 215W bulb already fitted into its housing, so no extra housing is needed.

Which of the four available versions — three OEM options or the compatible option — should I select for my projector?

All four versions meet ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time; choose the OEM direct, OEM Epson, alternative OEM or compatible version based on budget and brand preference.

What does the 5000-hour rating mean for daily use in an Epson projector?

At the rated 5000 hours the lamp should still deliver usable brightness; actual life varies with operating mode, ambient temperature and power cycles.
