Professional intercom headset

The Datavideo HP-2A is a dual-sided headset built for crew members and operators who rely on Datavideo ITC intercom systems. Its closed-back circumaural cups block ambient noise so users can stay focused during long production sessions.

3.5 mm analogue connection

The headset terminates in a single 3.5 mm jack that carries both audio and microphone signals. This analogue interface limits cable length to practical runs and requires the host system to provide the matching combined headset port.

Check your intercom port

Verify that your Datavideo ITC unit or beltpack presents a 3.5 mm headset socket with the same pin assignment. Systems using separate microphone and headphone jacks, XLR connectors or digital headset protocols will not accept this plug directly.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the single-sided or dual-sided version for my intercom setup?

This HP-2A model is a dual-side headset, providing two earcups for immersive monitoring and better isolation in noisy production environments.

How does the closed-back design perform when I'm monitoring loud sources in a control room?

The closed-back cups and circumaural pads isolate you from external noise, while the drivers resist clipping during high-volume monitoring sessions.

What does the 3.5mm jack connect to, and are there any limitations?

The 3.5mm jack plugs directly into Datavideo ITC intercom systems for clear, wired communication without wireless latency or battery concerns.
