DAYCO 89035 Tension Pulley

This DAYCO tension pulley is an idler component designed for light-duty belt applications. It serves automotive maintenance needs where a replacement pulley with industry number 89035 is specified.

Installation fit and common issues

The pulley mounts as a direct idler replacement on compatible light-duty belt drives. Misalignment or worn belt tension can cause premature bearing noise or uneven wear if the surrounding drive components are not inspected during fitting.

Capacity and service limits

It handles light-duty belt tension within the original equipment design range. The pulley is not rated for heavy-duty or high-load drive systems where increased side loads or continuous high-speed operation exceed its intended service envelope.

The box contains the idler pulley assembly only; you will need to supply the correct drive belt, mounting hardware and any special tools required for your vehicle.

Which industry-number version should I choose for my light-duty belt application?

Select industry number 89035 when your service information calls for that exact light-duty idler pulley specification.
