Platform Truck 1200 lb Capacity

This steel platform truck carries up to 1,200 lb on a 60 in by 24 in powder-coated deck. The removable raised handle allows easy manoeuvring in tight aisles or loading bays. A 12 ga steel deck and powder-coated frame resist daily wear in warehouse and yard environments. Overall height is 42 in and overall length is 61 1/2 in.

Suited for Heavy Single Loads

Workers moving pallets, crates or bulky equipment up to the rated capacity will find the solid steel deck and flush lip practical. Operations that need side containment, multiple deck levels or a fold-flat frame should consider other configurations. The fixed 24 in width may not suit narrow doorways or confined storage spaces.

Load Rating Decides Fit

The 1,200 lb capacity is the single figure that determines whether this truck matches the heaviest load you plan to move. If your typical loads stay well below that limit, a lighter-duty cart may be more economical. Choose this model when the peak load reaches the rated maximum.

Questions about this item

What clearance do I need for the 61 1/2 in overall length and 24 in overall width?

Allow at least 61 1/2 in by 24 in of floor space; the 42 in handle height means doorways need that much vertical clearance.

How do I attach the removable raised handle and what step is often missed?

Slide the handle into the deck sockets and secure the locking pins; the step often missed is fully seating both pins so the handle cannot lift out under load.

When should I inspect or replace the casters on this 1,200 lb platform truck?

Check casters monthly for flat spots, bearing noise or loose bolts; replace any wheel that wobbles or no longer rolls smoothly to keep the 1,200 lb rating safe.
