Synchro-Link HTD Timing Belt 150 Teeth

The Dayton 1LVU8 Synchro-Link HTD timing belt is a closed-loop power-transmission component built for general industrial use. It features a neoprene body with a nylon tooth coating and fiberglass reinforcing cords for dimensional stability. The belt carries 150 teeth on an 8 mm pitch and presents a top width of 85 mm.

Compatibility Checks Before Ordering

Verify that your drive system uses an HTD 8 mm pitch profile and that the centre distance matches a 1200 mm pitch length. Confirm the pulley groove count aligns with the 150-tooth specification and that the 85 mm width fits within the available flange clearance. Ensure the operating environment stays between -22 Degrees F and 194 Degrees F.

Replaces Worn HTD Belts of Identical Specifications

This belt directly replaces any HTD timing belt sharing the 1200 mm pitch length, 8 mm pitch, 150 teeth and 85 mm width. The upgrade is worthwhile when the existing belt shows tooth shear, cord fatigue, cracking from heat cycling or nylon coating wear that degrades positional accuracy.

Questions about this item

Does the belt come with pulleys or tensioners, or are those separate purchases?

Only the closed-loop timing belt is included; pulleys and tensioners must be sourced separately.

Which pitch and tooth-count combination matches my drive — the 8 mm pitch with 150 teeth?

Yes, this belt has an 8 mm pitch and 150 teeth for a 1200 mm pitch length.

What does the 1200 mm pitch length mean when the belt is installed on my machine?

It defines the centre-to-centre distance between pulleys so the 150 teeth engage correctly.
