The Dayton 20CK13 is a sleeved fire damper built for vertical mounting in static HVAC systems. Its 22-gauge galvanised steel construction meets UL 555 and NFPA 80, 90A and 101 requirements for 1-1/2-hour fire-rated barriers.

Installation fit

The unit ships with a sleeve and a 165-degree-F fusible link, ready for insertion into a 6-by-6-inch duct opening. The 3-11/16-inch depth and 5-3/4-inch blade dimensions allow it to sit inside standard low-pressure ductwork without protruding into the airstream when open.

Capacity and limits

The damper provides 0.110 square feet of free area, suitable for small-branch duct runs in commercial or residential installations. It is not intended for high-velocity or high-pressure systems, and the fixed fusible-link temperature cannot be adjusted for specialised fire-protection strategies.
