Dayton 21D021 Swivel Equipment Roller

The Dayton 21D021 is a steel machine roller built to move loads up to 8,000 lb. Its swivel top plate with lock lets operators turn heavy equipment in tight spaces. The powder-coated frame resists corrosion on job sites and in workshops. Fourteen rollers distribute weight evenly across the 10 1/2 in by 5 3/4 in deck.

Capacity and headroom

The 8,000 lb rating covers most industrial machinery, large crates and palletised loads. Fourteen rollers reduce point pressure so the deck handles dense items without bending. The swivel lock holds direction when moving in a straight line. Loads wider than the 5 3/4 in deck or taller than the 4 3/4 in profile may need additional support.

Thermals noise and power

No motor or hydraulic system means zero power draw and silent operation. Steel construction and powder coating run at ambient temperature under continuous use. No fans, pumps or electrical components require cooling or generate vibration. Maintenance is limited to occasional roller inspection and frame cleaning.

Questions about this item

Will the 8000 lb swivel roller support a vintage steel tool chest?

The unit carries up to 8000 lb on its powder-coated steel frame, so a loaded vintage chest within that weight moves smoothly on the 14 rollers.

How do I confirm the lock is engaging on the 5 3/4 in top plate?

Push the lever until it clicks; the plate then resists manual rotation while the 14 rollers still allow straight-line travel.

Does the box include mounting bolts for the 5 3/4 in square top plate?

The roller ships as a single assembled deck with textured top plate and lock; mounting hardware for your equipment is not included.
