10-inch manual balancing damper

This round duct damper is built for airflow balancing in HVAC systems. It fits a 10-inch nominal duct diameter with a matching rough opening. The single-blade design allows manual adjustment for air distribution control.

Maximum air velocity 2000 fpm

The damper is rated for air velocities up to 2000 feet per minute. Exceeding this limit can cause excessive noise, vibration or blade flutter. System designers must verify that duct velocity stays within this bound for reliable operation.

16-gauge steel frame construction

The 16-gauge steel frame provides rigidity for round duct installations. It replaces lighter-gauge or non-metallic dampers where structural strength is required. The upgrade is justified when duct pressure or physical demands exceed the capacity of thinner materials.
