DIN-rail switching supply converts 90–264 V AC to 24 V DC at 120 W with 5 A continuous output and LED status indication
The Dayton 33NT12 is a 24V DC switching power supply rated at 120W and 5A continuous output. It accepts a wide 90 to 264V AC input at 47 to 63 Hz, making it suitable for global industrial and automation panels. The unit mounts on a standard DIN rail and fits in a compact metal case measuring 4.88 in high, 1.57 in wide and 4.45 in deep. IP20 and NEMA 1 ratings limit use to protected indoor enclosures.
It replaces older linear or lower-wattage DIN-rail supplies when a panel needs 120W of regulated 24V power with a 7.5A peak capability for short inrush events. The jump is worth it when the load approaches 5A steady state and the design requires hold-up time greater than 20 msec to ride through brief mains interruptions. An LED status indicator and an output monitor signal simplify integration with PLCs or supervisory systems. Buyers who need higher continuous current or a wider output-voltage range should look elsewhere.
The supply delivers 5A continuously at 24V with output noise less than or equal to 1 percent, which suits typical sensor banks, actuator clusters and small motor drives. Peak output of 7.5A covers startup surges without tripping. At full load the unit runs within its thermal design inside a ventilated cabinet; sustained operation above 5A or in sealed enclosures without airflow will exceed its ratings. The single-phase input and fixed 24V output mean it cannot serve multi-voltage or redundant configurations.

The metal case measures 4.88 in high, 1.57 in wide and 4.45 in deep; allow clearance for wiring and the LED indicator.
Connect the 90 to 264V AC input to the labelled terminals, then the 24V DC output; the single-phase 47 to 63 Hz supply must be live before the OK LED lights.
Hold-up time exceeding 20 msec is a design spec; if output drops sooner under load, the unit is ageing and should be swapped.
