DIN-rail DC power supply converts 90–264 V AC to 48 V DC at 50 W with IP20 protection
The Dayton 33NT21 is a DIN-rail DC power supply built for control cabinets and industrial panels that need a regulated 48 V DC rail. It accepts a wide 90 to 264 V AC input at 47 to 63 Hz and delivers up to 50 W from a compact plastic enclosure rated IP20 and NEMA 1.
The single figure that determines suitability is the 1 A continuous output at 48 V DC, which fixes the maximum load at 50 W. Peak current is also 1 A, so there is no short-term overhead for inrush or transient demands beyond the rated ampere.
The unit comfortably powers sensors, small actuators, PLCs or fieldbus couplers that stay within the 50 W envelope and the 1 A limit. It runs out when the connected load draws more than 1 A or when the application requires hold-up longer than the 16 msec minimum or output noise below 1 percent.
