Proof Coil Chain for Yard Tasks

This Dayton proof coil chain is built for general outdoor use such as securing gates, barriers or temporary fencing. It is made from Q235 carbon steel with a galvanized finish and carries a working load limit of 4500 lb. The chain is not rated for lifting applications.

Simple Layout with No Hooks

The 20 ft length arrives as straight coil chain with 1/2 in trade size links and no hooks attached. Installation consists of cutting to length and adding compatible fittings of your choice. The lack of included hooks means you must supply your own connectors, which is the most common oversight.

Check Load Rating and Temperature Range

Verify that a 4500 lb working load limit meets the demands of your intended task, remembering the chain is not approved for lifting. Confirm the operating range of -40 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit suits your local climate. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to this product.

Questions about this item

Which chain grade and working load limit should I select for a 4,500 lb requirement?
